This is the Trafford Watch Co. Daytripper Eos. It is a beautiful watch.
The dial is the best part. It has a smooth color change from cool teal at the top to warm orange at the bottom. The fine sunray lines give it nice depth and make the colors look alive. It feels like watching the sky change during a long drive at dawn. The big numbers at 12, 3, 6 and 9 are clear and easy to read.
It sits very comfortably on the wrist. At 39mm wide it is not too big or too small. The curved lugs help it follow the shape of the wrist nicely. It feels light and balanced.
The teal leather strap matches the dial colors perfectly. It is soft from the start and breaks in very quickly. After a short time it feels like an old favorite strap.
The watch also has a useful feature. You can quickly move just the hour hand for travel or time changes. The 24-hour ring on the outside makes this easy.
In the dark the hands and markers glow bright and clear. The build feels solid with a nice see-through back.
Overall this is a colorful, comfortable everyday watch with real character. It is great for daily use or road trips

I. Love. This. Brand! Trafford is a fantastic organization, and their timepieces are outstanding. The new Daytripper Eventide is stunning. I've worn it a few times, and I have yet to NOT receive compliments on its beauty. As much as I love Trafford's watches (I have two), I'm most impressed with Nathan and his team. Their passion and attention to detail are exceptional and rare. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
